I know I said that I would share photos of my apartment several weeks ago, but life got in the way, and I didn’t end up doing it when I was supposed to. I decided to wait and do it once Chris moved in,  Chris is now moved in, so it looks a whole lot better more like it will for the time we live here!

Chris’s move in process was pretty painless, and now that he’s moved in we actually have enough storage space for our collective stuff, particularly in the kitchen.

Now, please note that our space will get more cleaned up as Chris finishes his unpacking and we organize everything in a way that works for us. The move-in process is always a little messy, but I wanted to show it to you guys!

The apartment that we’re living in is 658 square feet, which is fairly cozy for two people, but it’s going to work just fine for our first apartment. As you can see, it’s a fairly open apartment, with the only separate rooms being the bedroom and bathroom. That has both its blessings and curses,  but we like it for the most part. Our biggest complaint so far is that the microwave beeps obnoxiously – if that’s our biggest problem, then we’re living pretty well!

All in all, we’re both very excited to be in the same place that we can actually call our own, and we look forward to having our friends over to visit!
