I read so many books this year, you guys. I didn’t expect to actually hit my Goodreads goal of 75, and I totally blew past that. I got to read so many great books, and I drug myself through some books that I really hated, but I nearly doubled my goal.
I think my favorite part of this year was falling into the twitter book community, and getting to know so many fantastic bloggers and authors. I always like finding new authors to read and watch for, and Twitter offers a great way to connect with them.
In particular, I’ve enjoyed reading these authors’ new books, and I look forward to their future works! I hope you’ll take a look at the reviews and the books, cause they’re fabulous!

This is such a good list! Zoraida is also on mine. I know all these authors, but I haven’t been able to read books by all of them yet. I will read Iron Cast next year, though!
I think you’ll love Iron Cast! I know I did! I’m gonna work on reading through Zoraida’s backlist next year, cause I loved LL so much!
I haven’t read any books by these authors (shame on me!), but I’m looking forward to read books by Roshani Chokshi and Naomi Novik since I’ve heard good things about it! Lovely list 🙂
The good news is, there’s still plenty of time to read all of them! 🙂
I still have to read The Star-Touched Queen! It’s been on my shelf since it was released, I just haven’t had the time to read it yet! And I had started Uprooted last year I think, but I was having trouble really diving into it. Labyrinth Lost sounds interesting, for sure!
Uprooted is definitely a dense read and takes a lot of concentration to read, so I don’t blame you. You should definitely read it if you can tho!
