Top Ten Books on my Christmas List

I think all of us have a list of books we want that has more things on it than would ever actually fit in our homes, but here are the ones I actually want on my shelves as soon as possible. I’ve been banned from buying books due to Christmas, so here’s the list of books I asked for for Christmas!

The Second Mango – Shira Glassman

This book has been on my TBR for years, but I keep forgetting to buy it. This is literally at the top of my list, so I’m crossing my fingers that someone else buys it for me! If not, it’ll be my first book purchase next year.

The Grisha Trilogy – Leigh Bardugo

I loved this series, and the spinoffs, so much. I’ve already read them once, and I’d love to read them all again in one fell swoop. I’d also love to be able to loan these to friends and family, which is hard to do when I don’t own them! I already own the Crows duology,

The Giver Omnibus – Lois Lowry

I have three out of four books in this omnibus on my shelf already, but I want them to all be the same edition and also this omnibus is beautiful. The Giver was one of my favorite books when I was growing up, but I don’t ever want to talk about the movie.

The Starlit Wood Anthology

As you may know, I love fairy tales, and I especially love reading new ones. I’m impressed with the list of authors, and I look forward to reading this when it becomes mine!

The Diviners – Libba Bray

This is a book I read years ago and loved. I reviewed it here, but despite owning Lair of Dreams, I don’t actually have The Diviners. Time to fix that!

Iron Cast – Destiny Soria

Iron Cast is a 2016 debut and I loved it from start to finish. I reviewed it here, and I hope you’ll read it, too. It’s that good. It’s Diviners & Great Gatsby, but more magical and more diverse. There’s also a french horn, which is very much my thing.

The Invisible Library & The Masked City – Genevieve Cogman

I read The Invisible Library for the first time through Netgalley, and I’ve continued to read the series, but I really want to own these. Books about magic & books? Sign me up!

A Darker Shade of Magic & Gathering of Shadows – V.E. Schwab

I listened to the audiobook of ADSOM, and I thoroughly enjoyed this world. I also reviewed it yesterday, so take a look at my full thoughts! I haven’t read AGOS yet, but I intend to whenever I get this in my hands!
