Top Book Gift Recommendations!

This listicle is gonna be huge, but it’s my top recommendations for each of the categories I actually read. Here’s some books that I recommend you buy for your friends, if you know kind of what they like, but aren’t sure what some good titles are.

I highly recommend you buy through Indiebound or Amazon, both of which I am affiliated with, but I’m a little biased. I really hope your friends will love these books!

For People Who Like Memoirs:

Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson (Review) | Lab Girl by Hope Jahren (Review) | We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie | Neurotribes by Steve Silberman | You Can’t Touch My Hair and Other Things I Still Have to Explain by Phoebe Robinson | Between the World & Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates | Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser |

For People Who Like YA Fantasy:

Binti by Nnedi Okorafor | The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman (Review) | Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova (Review) | The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig | Silver in the Blood by Jessica Day George | Princess Academy by Shannon Hale | Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce

For People Who Like YA Contemporary:

Austenland by Shannon Hale | Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz (Review) | To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han | Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan | Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen (Review) | The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd | The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner |

What are some of the books that you would like to see in your friends’ hands, and why? Share them with me in the comments!

    1. Yes, I read it right after it released, and just bought the audiobook, and loved it. I’ve actually bought it (and loaned it out) to a few friends.
