November 2018 Wrap Up

Photo taken by the lovely Flyleaf staff member whose name I don’t know!

November is over! We made it! It was a bit of a slog, but we got here!

Personal News

In personal things in November, I got to meet Julie Dao which was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She was at Flyleaf Books talking with Scott Reintgen and it was so nice to meet someone I admire on the internet so much. She is just as wonderful in person as she is online! Have a selfie with her!

I also got to go see Hamilton with my mom and two best friends. I’ve been looking forward to seeing it in person for what seems like forever, and it definitely blew threw all of my expectations.

AND THEN I hosted Thanksgiving at my house for all my friends, which was delightful! Nearly everything went according to plan, which I consider a success!

In slightly more terrifying news, I will be having carpal tunnel surgery next month, so I likely will not be blogging a lot! I’ll be well taken care of, and am in the financial position to be able to pay for it, so I’m blessed. It’s officially scheduled so you’ll probably see me whining about being in pain on Twitter and Instagram!

On to writing news!

NaNoWriMo 2018 Winner!

As y’all will know if you follow me on Twitter, I took part in National Novel Writing Month! And I CRUSHED IT. I finished WRAPPED UP IN YOU and made it awesome! I also did a ton of other work that pushed me over the line to 50k! If  you did NaNo and made any words at all, I would like to say that I am damn proud of you.

On to the Blogging Stuff!

Books I Read:

Empress of All Seasons – Emiko Jean | Taste of Marrow – Sarah Gailey | Iron and Magic – Ilona Andrews | Toxic – Lydia Kang | The Alchemists of Loom – Elise Kova | The Dragons of Nova – Elise Kova | Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix – Julie C. Dao |

(I accidentally started reading Elise Kova’s books… on the second book in a series. Whoops! But I caught myself at around 30 percent of the way into the audiobook and fixed it relatively quickly.)

Posts I Wrote:
