May was a month of anniversaries for me. To start the month off, May 1 was the anniversary of moving to Virginia three years ago with the love of my life. May 12 was said love of my life’s 28th birthday, which he celebrated with friends.

Last but not least, May 25 was the anniversary of me leaving my job as a daily news reporter, which is bittersweet for me. I’m a lot healthier and happier now that I’m working for myself, but it has its drawbacks as well.

I’ll probably write more about that later, but for now, I want to share what I worked on this month!
