May Wrap Up

So, the month of May was exciting in a lot of unexpected ways.

I mentioned in last month’s wrap up that I turned in my notice at my job. Well, as of last week, I am no longer a full time reporter. Instead, I am now a full time freelancer dipping my toes into the field of public relations in addition to all of my work as a copywriter and reviewer. I’ve started reviewing books for Publisher’s Weekly, though I cannot tell you which ones are mine.

I also officially launched Let’s Fox About It which is a marginalized-people-focused pop culture news site on May 1! Most of the posts are my own right now, since I’m trying to get everything set up and ready for others to come on board, but by July, we will be a team of five writers! I hope you’ll check it out!

I’ve also started doing some freelance public relations work! So I’ll be working a little bit everywhere, and having a great time doing it.

This all might mean you’ll see some changes here at CandidCeillie, but I’ll still be me, and I’ll still be posting!
