WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK YOU MARKED AS ‘READ’?
I just finished listening to Hard Choices by Hillary Rodham Clinton! I probably won’t be reviewing it, because I think everyone’s exhausted by the election, but it’s a good first person account of what she experienced as Secretary of State.

I do use the star rating system, because it’s the easiest for me to work with. I do like Litsy’s system, though, and may change over in the days to come. We’ll see!

DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE QUOTES?
SHARE A FEW.
“I think the only way to get through this life is laughing hard and constantly, mostly at myself.” —Shannon Hale
“There are so many things to be scared of in this world: blooms of jellies. A sixth extinction. A middle school dance. But maybe we can stop feeling so afraid. Maybe instead of feeling like a mote of dust, we can remember that all the creatures on this Earth are made from stardust.” – The Thing About Jellyfish, Ali Benjamin.
“If I have communicated anything to you I hope it is the absolute urgency to write yourself, your body, your own experience. The absolute necessity for you to write yourself in order to understand yourself, in order to become yourself. I ask you to fight against your own disappearance. To refuse to self-immolate. Or to launch yourself as a burning, glorious spectacle into outer space. To scratch yourself out and begin again, to die and resurrect.” – Kate Zambreno
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?
Some of my auto-buy authors are Tamora Pierce, Richelle Mead, Leigh Bardugo, Zoraida Cordova and Nnedi Okorafor! I just started reading Zoraida and Nnedi’s works recently, and I’m in love with their work!
HAVE YOU JOINED ANY GROUPS?
I have, but I’m not very good at actually participating in groups. I join them and then forget about them if I’m not reminded. It’s a little embarrassing.
