Favorite Queer Books for Pride

June is Pride Month, which means that us queer folk are supposed to gather together, which has not been the case at all this year on Twitter. Frankly, it’s been a shitshow, so I thought I’d do some aesthetics of queer books that I’ve loved in the last year!

Timekeeper by Tara Sim

I had the joy of listening and reviewing Timekeeper thanks to Audiobookworm Productions, and it was wonderful. Colton is just the squishiest of clock spirits, and I cannot wait to see what comes next in this alternate history!

Cybernetic Tea Shop by Meredith Katz

This asexual F/F SFF novella is sweet, focuses on healing and tea. The love interest is a robot, which normally would bother me, but it was handled so, so well in this that I never even thought about it. I highly recommend it.

Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde

I think you will all remember just how much I loved Queens of Geek from when I reviewed the ARC. It should come as no surprise that this f/f relationship between two women of color is one of my picks!

The Second Mango by Shira Glassman

I haven’t reviewed this, but I absolutely adored the first book in Shira’s series. It was literally on my list for YEARS, and once I finally read it, it was everything I wanted it to be. Shira, the author, is an absolute delight, too. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee

If you read my review of Tash Hearts Tolstoy, then you’ll know how much this book meant to me. I can’t explain it any other way, other than it felt like my story, except I don’t want anything to do with video editing. I hope you’ll read it.
