Hey, guys! It’s been a while since you guys have heard from me here for a few reasons.

Shortly after my last post, I was hired at not one, but two businesses in the area for part time jobs. One of those businesses was Dicks Sporting Goods, and the other was The News & Observer. My job at the News & Observer is a layout position. My official title is “Obituaries and Special Occasions Clerk,” but I’m also doing some design work for others within the company, including Walter Magazine!  Between the two jobs that I was doing, I simply did not have the energy to do much other than work and sleep, although I have been trying to keep up with my book reviews on Tumblr.  I recently left my part time job at Dick’s in order to be able to do more of the work that I truly enjoy – reading, writing and designing.

Since I’m going to have a little more time to do things, I made the decision to combine all of the things I’ve been doing into one blog – this one! Book reviews, any articles I write, anything fun I design, etc. will all be coming here! I’ll still be doing some other blogging on Tumblr, and keeping up with the booklr community there, but hopefully you guys will enjoy some of the content that I’m also sharing over there!

So, going forward, you’ll be getting regular posts here of all sorts. Enjoy!
