I’m kinda curious about you DNFing A Study in Charlotte. Haven’t read that one yet but Ive only heard good things from friends, so I’m a bit surprised.
It was a style thing for me – I tried listening to almost an hour and was annoyed by it every time. I’m not sure exactly what bothered me exactly but it wasn’t working for me.
